Birds of Prey Visit

We had the amazing opportunity to welcome a special guest speaker, Mr. Kenneally from Heritage Council of Ireland , who is an expert on birds of prey. He brought with him a collection of stuffed birds, which we got to see up close. It was absolutely fascinating!

During the presentation, Mr. Kenneally shared interesting facts about different types of birds of prey, such as eagles, hawks, and owls. He told us about their hunting techniques, their impressive flying skills, and their unique adaptations that help them survive in the wild. We even learned about some rare and endangered species that we need to protect.

After the talk, we were lucky enough to have a field trip outside. Mr. Kenneally brought us on a bird-spotting adventure. It was a thrilling experience!

We would like to extend a big thank you to Mr. Kenneally for taking the time to visit our school and sharing his knowledge and passion for birds of prey with us. We learned so much and had a fantastic time!
