One of the great benefits of attending Rushall NS is that all children from 3rd-6th class will get swimming lessons for 6 weeks every academic year! That is 4 years of lessons for each student where the children are leaving primary school able to be confident and responsible around water.
We are delighted to be working with the swimming coaches in Roscrea Leisure Centre each year!
We make a conscious decision to reduce the swimming teacher:student ratio compared to other schools. Next year (2024/25) we will be making 3 groups for our class of 15 children. We feel having the students in small groups makes a real difference to the quality of the instruction and helps the students to get the most out of their swimming lessons each year.
For the 2024/25 year, we will be doing 6 weeks of swimming lessons: 3 weeks in December and 3 weeks in January.
