What an exciting day we had at the Green Schools Award ceremony in Kilkenny! We were over the moon to hear that our application for the 7th Green Flag award had been successful. It’s a fantastic occasion to celebrate all the hard work and learning that went into achieving this milestone.
The atmosphere was buzzing as we watched some impressive videos and enjoyed performances from other school children. The speeches that followed highlighted the importance of being part of the Green Schools programme, and it truly struck a chord with all of us. We even discovered that this fantastic initiative runs in over 80 countries around the world, where it’s known as Eco Schools.
It’s a proud moment for our school community, and we can’t wait to continue making a positive impact on our environment. Here’s to many more green achievements ahead!
