We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our school has once again clinched the title of Best School in Ireland, marking our third consecutive year of this fantastic accomplishment! This year's competition was exceptionally fierce, with over 300 schools vying for the top spot. It continually gets tougher, but we are particularly proud of our class consisting of 3rd to 6th class students! Each and everyone had to work extremely hard at their own pace/level to make this achievement come true.
In the class category, we put forth an incredible effort during the three days of competition, finishing an impressive 3rd out of more than 1,500 classes from both Ireland and Northern Ireland. Competing against 6th classes and Year 7s—along with a few Year 10s thrown in for good measure—our results are even more remarkable. Out of the Top 40 classes, our class was the only one that wasn't a 6th class or Year 7, making our achievement of 3rd place truly outstanding!
We are over the moon with the dedication our students displayed, and it was fantastic to witness the teamwork and individual prowess flourish. A special shoutout goes to Grace, who secured an incredible 6th place amongst more than 17,000 competitors! We really have many remarkable Times Tables champions in our senior room. Well done, everyone!
