Last Sunday marked a truly special day for our Second Class pupils and their families as they celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. I extend my warmest congratulations to each child. It was wonderful to come together as a school and parish community to share in this meaningful celebration.
Our sincere thanks go to Fr. Brian for celebrating the Mass, and to the fantastic Rushall Choir—your music always brings such a lovely atmosphere to the day. A big thank you to Dáire Croke and the wonderful Tidy Towns Committee for ensuring that the school, church, and grounds looked their very best.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our school secretary, Claire Delaney, and Mr Monaghan for creating the lovely Communion booklet, a thoughtful memento of this special occasion. The beautiful art displays were put together with the help of our SNA, Therese Kirwan.
A huge shoutout to our Parents’ Council for organising the refreshments in the school after Mass. It was a lovely opportunity for families to gather and celebrate together.
Finally, to our amazing Second Class pupils— we are incredibly proud of you all. Your hard work truly shone through, and we hope the day was as memorable for you as it was for us!
