On May 10th, Hannah and Éabha celebrated their First Holy Communion in Naomh Garadh’s Church, marking a truly special day for all involved. The occasion was shared joyfully by their parents, extended family, friends, and school friends, whose presence added greatly to the warmth and significance of the celebration.
It was a genuine community occasion, enriched by the attendance of the wonderful Rushall Choir, whose contribution enhanced the ceremony beautifully. Father Brian welcomed everyone with warmth and kindness, helping to create a reverent and reassuring atmosphere throughout the Mass. Hannah and Éabha were made to feel completely at ease, and they fulfilled their many roles during the ceremony with confidence, clarity, and great care.
The Mass concluded with a lovely rendition of Peace Like a River by their school friends, providing a fitting and memorable ending to the celebration. Afterwards, everyone gathered in the school for refreshments, generously hosted by the school’s Parent Association. It was a wonderful occasion, distinguished by pride, togetherness, and many happy memories for all who attended.
