On the 28th of April, we were delighted to welcome back Paul Finch from the Heritage in Schools Programme. Paul has always enjoyed working with the pupils in Rushall NS and his enthusiasm for working with our pupils is truly infectious.
As part of the Bealtaine celebrations, Paul brought the magic of willow to life through the construction of beautiful dream catchers. The pupils were captivated as they watched the willow being formed into a circle, ready for their creative touch. With guidance from Paul, they learned threading and weaving techniques that transformed simple materials into stunning pieces of art.
At the end of the day, there was great excitement as each pupil proudly held their completed dream catcher, ready to take home a unique creation that reflected their individual creativity. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, learning, and artistic expression, leaving everyone inspired.
