All students at our school had a fantastic time celebrating St. Brigid's Day. One of the highlights of the day was when the entire school gathered to make St. Brigid's crosses using rushes. Each student carefully followed the instructions given by the teachers and created their own beautiful cross. It was truly wonderful to see the creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the students during this activity.
The junior room, in particular, had an additional activity planned. They made a nature frame using materials collected from outside. The students worked together, selecting and arranging leaves, flowers, and other natural elements to create a beautiful frame. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to explore nature, learn about different types of plants, and showcase their artistic skills.
Overall, it was a fun-filled day of learning and celebrating St. Brigid's Day. The students not only learned about the traditions and significance of this important Irish festival but also had the chance to work collaboratively and follow instructions to create wonderful crafts. It was a truly memorable day for all!
