Recently, our school had the pleasure of welcoming Paul Finch, a heritage visitor, who hosted a delightful Christmas workshop with the children. Paul brought with him a wealth of creativity and enthusiasm, encouraging our students to think outside the box when it comes to holiday decorations.
During the workshop, the children learned how to make charming reindeers from willow trees, embracing the idea of using natural materials instead of purchasing new decorations. Paul’s friendly approach made the experience even more enjoyable, as he engaged the children with stories and tips on how to let their imaginations run wild.
The excitement in the room was palpable as the children crafted their unique creations, each one reflecting their personality and creativity. It was heartwarming to see their pride as they presented their reindeers, showcasing the wonderful results of their hard work and imagination.
This workshop not only fostered creativity but also instilled a sense of appreciation for nature and the importance of reusing materials. We are grateful to Paul for his inspiring visit and look forward to more engaging activities in the future.
