This term, we have started to learn how to play the Ukulele as part of our Music Generation Laois project. We had 3 or 4 students who had one at home and brought it in so that they could learn how to be better at playing the instrument!
Nuala is an excellent teacher and after she spent some time tuning up all the ukuleles, we learned two new chords and practiced playing them and strumming along. Some of us found the tip of our fingers were sore from holding the strings so tight, but this will get easier the more we practice!
We are so looking forward to spending the whole term practising and learning new songs. It's so much fun!
