GREEN FLAG

We are very proud of our Green School status here at Rushall NS and we are delighted to achieve our sixth green flag on the theme of Global Citizenship/Litter and Waste this year. It was as a result of very hard work by the children and staff.

For each new flag we have to show how we are still maintaining the work we did for all the previous flags and what new actions are we talking. We have a lot of work to do to maintain all our current flags:

2. Energy (2009)
3. Water (2012)
4. Travel (2013)
5. Biodiversity (2015)
6. Global Citizenship/Litter and Waste (2023)

All our flags have been raised in conjunction with Sunday Mass and have been very special occasions for children, parents, teachers, Board of Management, and the wider community.
